This cherry dining table with figured maple skirt and a leaf was a piece I built over 20 years ago. I was selecting wood for a client and came across the 20" wide plank that makes up the bulk of the top; it wasn't long enough for the client's project, but I couldn't leave it behind so it became the first piece I built for myself.
